Bharat NCAP 2.0 proposes a new 100-point safety framework that gives vulnerable road users their own 20% scoring pillar and adds dedicated categories for safe driving and accident avoidance. ASEAN NCAP is taking a similar direction, with its 2026-2030 framework giving greater weight to active safety technologies and motorcyclist protection.

The message is clear: ADAS in Southeast Asia is going toward better localization, better reliability, not just adding more advanced features.
